Q. What information do you collect and how do you use it ?

A. When you subscribe to our Member Bets Mail Service, we are provided with your email address by you, and optionally an SMS text messaging mobile phone number. This allows us to send the daily Member Bets to you automatically from our web site. We do not use the information for any other purpose, and we do not sell or forward any email or mobile phone details to any other company or individuals. The email address and mobile phone number details are held on our website in a secure area that is inaccessible to 'hackers' and individuals who are not authorised to access it.
 
Q. How does Horse Racing Investment Systems protect your information regarding purchases ?

A. When you purchase a Membership, available from May 2008, the secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent. Furthermore, as required by the UK Data Protection Act 1984, we, along with our online payment brokers who follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have provided to prevent unauthorised access. When you pay, your credit or debit card details are NOT stored on our system - they are encrypted when you hit the 'submit' button and sent within the online authorisation request that the payment broker performs to complete the transaction with your credit card issuer. This makes the online purchase transaction very secure.
 
Q. What about "cookies" ?

A. "Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Our website does NOT use "cookies".
